And you thought Barry Ho’s pronouncements on NATO’s secular nation building project in Afghanistan was the big story of the week! Well, while Barry and other western leaders resemble 9th grade student council neophytes struggling to figure out how to lengthen recess, increase tolerance and make off-campus smoking and mosque bombing permissible during lunch breaks in Kabul … a NYC council-person of indeterminate gender loyalties has come to tears over the failure of fellow council members to openly sanctify sodomy at the altar. And all this while Osama bin Laden’s ghost is haunting the border region between Pakistan and Graceland! It’s no wonder Putin won’t leave power! Who wants to global politics left to children obsessed with queers and S.E.A.L. abuse….
So while foreign killers are in Barry’s sights, (at least for the next 18 months or so) the domestic bloodbath continues unabated. Indeed the executioner’s song has grown faint while the voice of the hucksters grows bold. And we are left to weep for those robbed, shot, burned, punched, strangled, robbed again, stabbed, and shot again in our midst. And left to ask whether when the founders laid upon the federal government the responsibility of ensuring domestic tranquility they were talking about Waziristan or Philadelphia?
But don’t let your heart be troubled! New Air Force recruits are being subjected to the manly art of tattoo removal before deployment to prop up Moslem regimes world-wide. And perhaps our troops will be the only ones experiencing global warming in the desolate desert lands to which their flung, because it seems the warming we were told about… (you know, after the cooling we all feared back in the ‘70’s)…well that warming may not be the hot topic it was made out to be. In fact the real story of 2010 could be all about the year worship of all things “science†began to crack…
But the Personhood movement across the nation promises to bring some credibility back to the scientific realm…. That’s if the religious fanatics are willing to hear the evidence.
